We have unit sizes ranging from 5×5 (25 sq ft.) to 14×40 (560 sq ft.) for regular stored items, (furniture, boxes, etc..), climate controlled items, boats, and RVs.
Mail Box Services
We offer large and small mailboxes for your convience if you need a place to get packages and mail delivered. You must come during office hours to pick up mail!

About Us
We are a local, family owned business. Our founder, Ray Melancon, started this business in 1994. He wanted it to be a place for his family to maintain and to help build the growing Upper Lafayette area. After Ray’s passing, his daughters Patricia Melancon-Fontenot and Jennifer M. Connolly are proudly continuing to serve the Upper Lafayette area.
Melancon I-49 Storage Center has all of the accommodations that you’d expect from a storage center but our customer service and care is unmatched. Our management is on-site, someone is in the office to assist you during our business hours.
Locks are your responsibility, but we do sell some in our office if you need!
